My married woman' s nuptials band fell between windshield and dash in rider corner. We heard it hit metal. We can't meet it at present. Whatever ideas almost where to look or how to go to it?

First gen? Taking the dash out is not equally bad a second gen, however non fun.
Got to drop the steering wheel to go the dash out.

May become lucky and it fell to the floor. Start yoga exercising to limber up and then you can await under the dash.

Skillful luck and study back.
Remove glove box by squeezing sides while opening all the manner to gain access to the HVAC box possibly sitting back there. Expert luck.

Into the vent holes, or just betwixt the dash and glass?
If just the glass/dash expanse to the side, pop off the glovebox, the kick panel, and try to pull dorsum the rug by the firewall.

There'southward a steel round rube that runs backside the glove box, that may accept been what u heard hit.... Its hollow and would have sounded "tinny" compared to it striking the firewall or ecm.

Ecm is behind glovebox......

I say remove kicking panel because that could take caught the band on its way downwards and saved u a hassle.

Obviously look thru the glovebox very well when u open and remove it.

The ecm is surrounded by a steel case like an older hard disk drive so its possible u heard information technology bounce off that and into the kick console.

I know theres a ton of plastic in the HVAC system in the cab, so I'm hoping when u said u heard a metal sound, that it didn't get in a vent.

i ripped everything out just almost to tear out the airbags when i put double sided tape on the end of a glaze hangar and fished it out betwixt the windshield and the dash, i didn't need to remove any of the things i did. it took me half dozen hours. godspeed.
Make clean out your shop vac and put on the crevasse tip and try to get information technology out.
